Technical textiles: PP woven fabric, belts and liners from our own weaving plant
DIV Trades weaves polypropylene fabric for its own big bags and sells it by the roll to other FIBC producers and industries. Around 50 machines in Bačka Palanka, Serbia produce around 300 tonnes of fabric and technical textiles.
DIV Trades supplies technical textiles for the big bag industry and other industries: heavy PP woven fabric from 140 to 240 g/m² for FIBC bodies, light PP woven fabric from 70 to 100 g/m² for tops, spouts and skirts, PP belts for lifting loops, welded PE liners, tapes and ties. All fabric is UV stabilized to 150 kly, available coated or uncoated, and can be woven as conductive Type C or ventilated fabric. The same fabric goes into our own big bags, so every roll is produced to the quality a certified FIBC requires.
Heavy PP woven fabric (140-240 g/m²)
Heavy PP fabrics weigh 140 g/m² or more and are mainly used for the body of big bags. We weave heavy fabric on two types of looms: circular looms, which produce tubular fabric, and Sulzer flat looms, which produce flat fabric with reinforced ends. The two loom types differ in weaving system, fabric construction and edge reinforcement, but both deliver the same quality.

Edge reinforcement on flat and circular looms
Sulzer flat loom fabric
Flat fabric with reinforced ends and, on request, reinforcement woven into the fabric where the baffles of a formstable bag are sewn.

Circular loom fabric
Tubular fabric with folded ends that act as a reinforcement, or ends cut with an ultrasonic knife. Reinforcement can be woven in for baffles or cross-corner loops.

Light PP woven fabric (70-100 g/m²)
Light PP fabrics weigh up to 120 g/m². They are used for the top of standard big bags, for inlet and outlet spouts and skirts, and for the body of single-loop big bags. Light fabric is smooth and easy to fold, unfold and tie, which is why spouts are made from it. We produce light fabric on circular looms only.

Conductive and ventilated fabric
Both heavy and light fabric can be woven as conductive Type C fabric with carbon threads in a grid, for Type C big bags used in explosive atmospheres according to IEC 61340-4-4. Ventilated fabric with open stripes lets air circulate through the bag and is used for ventilated big bags for potatoes, onions and other agricultural products.
Belts for big bag loops
DIV Trades produces woven PP belts for the lifting loops of big bags, from PP raffia or PP multifilament. Belt weight and width are chosen according to the SWL and safety factor of the bag.

Formliner: welded PE liners for FIBC
A formliner is a welded tubular PE liner with bottlenecks shaped to fit the inlet and outlet spouts of a big bag. We can offer all kinds of welded PE liners to your specification, from simple tubular liners to fitted formliners for our big bags with inliners.
Tapes, ties and dustproof tapes
We also supply the smaller technical textiles used in big bag production: tapes for closing spouts, ties and various types of dustproof tapes (sealing strips) that are sewn into the seams for dustproof big bags.
Packaging and labeling of fabric rolls
Every finished roll is marked with a control list that states the product name, serial number, length and weight before and after coating. Fabric rolls are wrapped in stretch film and packed in an additional bag of light fabric. This protects the fabric efficiently against damage and contamination during transport and storage.

About our weaving plant
The weaving plant is the first link in the production chain of DIV Trades. Technical textiles are produced on modern machinery in a purpose-built production site at Novosadski put in Bačka Palanka. More than 100 employees produce around 300 tonnes of fabric and technical textiles on around 50 machines, from tape extrusion and weaving to coating.

Technical textiles FAQ
What fabric weights do you weave?
Light fabric in 70, 85 and 100 g/m² and heavy fabric in 140, 165, 180, 200 and 240 g/m². Both can be coated with 30 g/m² of PP.
What width can you deliver?
Flat fabric from 60 to 140 cm and tubular fabric up to 400 cm circumference, with or without Z-fold. Heavy flat fabric is woven 70-120 cm wide.
Is the fabric UV stabilized?
Yes. All our fabric is UV stabilized to 150 kly as standard, which equals one year of sun exposure in the very south of Europe; after that the fabric must still have 50% of its initial strength.
Can you supply conductive Type C fabric?
Yes. Heavy fabric is woven with carbon threads in a 5 × 5 cm grid and light fabric in a 2 × 10 cm grid, and we also make yellow Type C belts with conductive threads.
Do you sell fabric in other colors?
White and black are standard. Other colors are possible for large quantities only, while belts are available in white, blue, black, red, green or as requested.
