Individual big bag designs: if you can imagine it, we can sew it

DIV Trades designs and manufactures custom big bags (FIBC) to individual specifications: any dimension from 50 × 50 × 50 cm to 140 × 140 × 240 cm, any combination of inlet, outlet, loops, fabric, sealing level, liner, printing and document pocket, and special constructions that are not shown on this website. Because tape extrusion, weaving, coating, belt production and sewing are all in-house in Bačka Palanka, Serbia, we control every component of a custom bag and can ship a full truck of made-to-order bags within 3 to 4 weeks anywhere in Europe.

A huge scope of options

It is impossible to present the whole range of FIBC specifications, options and styles on one website. The pages on lifting, filling, discharging, dimensions, fabric and dustproof sewing show the most common choices. Many more constructions are known to us but not shown here. If you need a bag you cannot find on these pages, ask us for it.

Product development with our customers

In nearly three decades of big bag manufacturing we have not only produced the industry's standard bags. We have taken on all kinds of special requests from customers: some of those designs later became industry standards, some solved a single customer's problem, and some disappeared because they turned out not to be useful. At DIV Trades we have always taken up the challenge of developing new solutions together with our customers.

Examples of what custom development covers: a Q-bag sized for a non-standard pallet, a ventilated bag with a ventilated skirt, a lined bag with a sewn-in liner and a double outlet spout, a conductive bag with colored loops for product identification, or a UN bag certified for your specific product.

How we design a custom big bag with you

   Define the product and the load

   We start with your product, its bulk density and the weight per bag. From this we derive the volume, the SWL and SF and a first fabric selection.

   Fix the dimension

   Truck, container, pallet and filling-machine limits set the base; the height is calculated from the required volume plus about 10 % filling space.

3. 3

   Choose inlet, outlet and loops

   Your filling line decides the inlet, your customers' discharging station the outlet, and the handling equipment on both ends the loop type.

4. 4

   Set the barrier

   Coated or uncoated fabric, sealing strips, inliner or bag-in-bag, depending on how fine, hygroscopic or sensitive the product is.

5. 5

   Add identification

   Printing, loop colors and document pockets so the bag is recognized and documented along the supply chain.

6. 6

   Sample, test and series production

   We produce samples, test them in-house or at a certified institute where required, and after your approval we start series production.
