Quality management and certificates

An integrated management system for quality, environment, occupational health and safety and food safety, certified by CERTOP CO d.o.o., Kanjiža.

DIV Trades d.o.o. runs an integrated management system certified to ISO 9001:2015 (quality), ISO 14001:2015 (environment), ISO 45001:2018 (occupational health and safety), ISO 22000:2018 (food safety) and HACCP. The certification body is CERTOP CO d.o.o. in Kanjiža, Serbia.

How the integrated management system developed

In December 2012 DIV Trades certified its quality management system to ISO 9001 for the production of jumbo bags and PP fabric. The aim was, and still is, to improve our products and services and to meet the growing expectations of existing and future customers.

In April 2016 we added an environmental management system (ISO 14001) and an occupational health and safety management system (OHSAS 18001) and merged all three into one integrated management system. The systems have since moved to the current editions of the standards: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018, which replaced OHSAS 18001.

Food safety followed in 2017 with HACCP certification, and our food safety management system is now certified to ISO 22000:2018. This underpins our food-grade big bags, which are produced to comply with Regulation (EC) 1935/2004, Regulation (EC) 2023/2006 and Regulation (EC) 10/2011.

What certification means for your big bags

  • Product traceability from raw material to finished bag.
  • Visual inspection of every FIBC and regular tests on our own test rigs; external test houses certify safe working load and food safety.
  • Controlled raw materials: virgin polypropylene, UV stabilization and in-house laboratory testing of tapes and fabric.
  • Cleanliness measures in the sewing plant: hair nets, steel grating floors so bags never touch the ground and hot cutting against loose threads.
  • A documented environmental and occupational health and safety management system alongside quality and food safety.
